  • 09/11/30 Last Call for BROCK PARK

  • Burlington City Council is sponsoring a public meeting about the future of Brock Park on Tuesday, Dec. 1/09 at 7:00PM at Tuck School, 3365 Spruce Ave. The Park has been declared surplus by the School Board and it is possible for Burlington to purchase the land. Unless the Park is bought by Burlington, it will be sold to developers for use as residences and the Park will be gone.
  • It is important for as many people as possible to attend this meeting to indicate that the people of Burlington do not want to lose Brock Park. A large turnout will encourage City Council to buy the Park and preserve it.
  • More information about this situation is available at www.savegeneralbrock.ca
